Overview
The ClrStream Outbound service offers fast, reliable and secure deliver of your outgoing email.
There are two ways this service can be used.
- You can configure your applications to use the SMTP service of ClrStream to deliver email to recipients.
- You can use the ClrStream Outbound Application to manage email campaigns to a set of email ids.
Getting Started to send email via ClrStream Outbound SMTP service
Before you can start sending out email to the outside world, the ClrStream service needs to be "warmed-up". This process takes about a week or so and the tasks to completed and the information you need to share with the team for the warm is as follows:
- Add the SPF and DKIM records with details provided by the onboarding team
- Share the public IPs of the application wishing to connect to the service
- Share the sender domain and sender id
- Share a few recipient ids and a sample mail which will be used by the onboarding team to "warm-up" the service for bulk delivery
Getting started to send email via ClrStream Outbound Application
To use the ClrStream Outbound Application, all the steps required to use the ClrStream Outbound SMTP service have to be done.
In addition the following information has to be shared with the Mithi onboarding team to create an account for your organization.
- The id to be registered for access
- The IPs from which the application will be accessed
