Overview
The Audit Trail dashboard can be used to view all the critical operations done by logged in users, using the following applications
- Admin Panel
- Active Store Ediscovery application
- Open Store application
- Deep Store application
- Customer account application
Accessing the Audit Trails Dashboard
Login to your Vaultastic domain using an id with admin rights. By default, the postmaster id of your Vaultastic domain has admin rights.
From the Application switch on the left, click on the icon for the Audit Trails Dashboard.
The dashboard will be launched in a new browser tab.
Using the dashboard to monitor critical operations
From the top right corner of the dashboard,
- If you want to see the details of a single domain, Select the domain from the drop-down list. Turn off the Show Organization Data option off.
- If you want to see details for all the domains in your organization, toggle the Show Organization Data button
- Select the application from the drop down menu
- Select the year and month
From the top left corner, you can select the format in which you want to view the audit records.
- Choose Stats if you want a summary of the counts of each operation in the selected application
- Choose Logs if you want the detailed logs
Stats View
- Using the Stats view, you can get a graphical or tabular view of the count of the number of critical operations performed by your users
- To get the graphical view, select Chart. To get the tabular view, select Table
- You can even download the statistics using the button in the right corner
Logs View
- The Logs view can be used to see the details logs
- To customize the table, select or un-select fields from the Columns drop-down menu
- To filter using date (within the selected month), actor or operation, click on the magnifying glass and define your filter.
- To clear the filter click on the Clear Filter button
- Logs are shown in a tabular form and can be downloaded using the download icon in top right corner.
