Overview
This guide introduces the basic workflow for using Vaultastic.
Vaultastic enables organizations to archive and manage data from systems such as email platforms, collaboration tools, drives, file servers, and cloud storage.

Log in to your Vaultastic domain
Navigate the Vaultastic applications

Upload data into Vaultastic stores

This quick start focuses on the basic operational workflow required to begin using Vaultastic.
Log in to Vaultastic
Steps
Open your Vaultastic domain in a browser.
https://{your-domain}.vaultastic.com
Example:
https://acmecorp-com.vaultastic.com
Enter your Vault ID.
Your Vault ID is derived from your primary email identity.
Example:
john.smith@acmecorp-com.vaultastic.com
Enter your password.
If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled, enter the verification code.
Click Login.
Navigate the Vaultastic Applications
After logging in, use the Application Switch in the interface to open Vaultastic applications.
These applications allow you to configure connectors, upload data, search archives, and monitor usage.
Key Applications

Configure Data Source Connectors
Before data can be archived, Vaultastic must connect to the systems that contain your data.
Steps
Open the Setup Connectors application.
Select the required data source.
Configure the connector using the setup wizard.
Validate that the connector is successfully registered.
Common data sources include:
Microsoft 365
Google Workspace
IMAP mail servers
Cloud storage platforms
On-prem storage systems
Once connectors are configured successfully, Vaultastic can ingest data from those sources.
Upload Data into the Vaultastic Stores
After connectors are configured, data can be uploaded into Vaultastic storage tiers.
Steps
Open the Upload Data application.
Click New Upload Request.
Select the data source and data type.
Select the destination store:
Active Store
Open Store
Deep Store
Submit the upload request.
Vaultastic will begin ingesting data according to the request configuration.
Search Archived Data
Vaultastic provides dedicated applications for accessing archived information.
