Setup Connectors Application

Overview

Before you can upload data to Vautastic or copy / move data from Vaultastic to another system, you need to configure the Connector for the Data Source and type.

This topic details the supported connectors and the method to configure them.

Supported Data Sources and Data Types

The following table provides a quick overview of supported data sources and the types of data that can be ingested.

Pre-requisites

Before setting up connectors, ensure that

You have admin access to your Vaultastic domains. Your Vaultatic login permissions allow you to update connectors for all the data sources and data types for all the domains.
You have admin access to each source system. Your priviledges are sufficient to configure journaling/forwarding or other configurations for live mail flow. Your privileges are sufficient to generate access keys.
When configuring connectors to on-prem systems, you have the public IP address of the systems and the firewalls are updated for connections from Vaultastic.

Accessing the Setup Connectors Application

To open the Setup Connectors application:

Log in to your Vaultastic domain using administrator credentials.
Open the LegacyFlo interface.
From the left navigation menu, click Integrations icon.

The application displays available connectors organized by data source and data type.

Adding a New Connector

The process for adding a connector depends on the type of data source.

Microsoft 365, Google Workspace

To register the access key for a new domain, click on the + sign next to Register Key for the domain
Your user id, Client App, and Resource Owner fields will be pre-filled. Enter the domain name for which the key is to be registered
Enter the key details
Click on Save
Close the dialog box.

Cloud Storage

Select the data source
Click +
Follow the configuration wizard to complete the connector setup.

Microsoft 365 Connectors

For domains using Microsoft 365, the following connectors are available:

Connector	Description
Outlook Email	Register Microsoft Graph API credentials to access mailbox
OneDrive	Register Microsoft Graph API credentials to access or upload files in user's OneDrive accounts.
Teams	Register Microsoft Graph API credentials to retrieve Teams chat transcripts
SharePoint Documents	Register Microsoft Graph API credentials to access SharePoint document libraries or upload documents to Sharepoint Sites

Google Workspace Connectors

For domains using Google Workspace, the following connectors are available:

Connector	Description
Gmail	Register API credentials to access or write to a mailbox
Google Drive	Register API credentials to access or upload to a user's GDrive
Google Chat	Register API credentials to retrieve chat transcripts

Cloud Storage Connectors

Cloud storage connectors allow Vaultastic to exchange data with external storage systems.

Storage System	Configuration
AWS S3	Configure a bucket with read/write permissions and register credentials
Azure Blob Storage	Configure a container and register storage credentials
Google Cloud Storage	Configure a bucket and register access credentials

After configuration, administrators should test the connection to confirm successful access.
