Overview
The Setup Connectors application is used to configure and manage connectors that enable data exchange between Vaultastic and external data sources.
Administrators can use this application to:
Configure & confirm live data ingestion flows
Generate and register API keys and credentials
Connect external data sources to Vaultastic
View, edit, or remove configured connectors
Connectors enable Vaultastic to archive data from:
- Email systems
- Collaboration platforms
- Cloud storage systems
- On-premises storage systems
Prerequisites
Before configuring connectors, ensure the following:
Access Requirements
- Vaultastic administrator access
- Administrative access to the source system (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS)
Network Requirements
- Outbound connectivity from Vaultastic to the source system APIs
- Required ports open for IMAP / FTP / SFTP (if applicable)
Credentials and Permissions
- API credentials or service accounts with required scopes
- Read or read/write permissions depending on connector type
- Mail flow or journaling permissions for email ingestion
