Preparation

Import EML to Vaultastic4 

  • After uploading the data files to S3, the next step in the process is to migrate the data into Vaultastic4 accounts using the LegacyFlo application.
  • For each EML file submit a separate request.
  • To submit multiple requests, manually create and upload a CSV. Use the help given in the following sections to define your requests. 
  • When submitting a request to upload EML data, select EML-VAULTASTIC4 as the Request type.
  • Provide EML file details under the Source information section.
  • Provide VAULTASTIC4 server details under the Destination information section.
  • Refer to the following table to understand the description and sample values for the fields.


Source Information (EML Files)

ZIP File name ZIP file name (containing EML files) on the S3 bucket 
  • It is recommended to convert the EML file to the ZIP format before uploading it to Vaultastic
  • Make sure that there are no forward slashes ("/") at the start or end.

S3 Folder path

The path on the S3 bucket. 

For buckets in your own account, specify the complete path of the S3 bucket with the subfolder. 

If you have uploaded the files to a folder on the S3 bucket in the Mithi account(LegacyFloTemporaryStore), name of the folder.

(Note: In both the cases, the path should not have the forward-slash “/” at the end)

Enter bucket folder path:

Follow the steps mentioned below the table to find the folder path

Example:  https://mithi-ind1-vaultastic-legacystore.s3.ap-south-1.amazonaws.com/pop

Using the temporary LegacyFlo S3 bucket?

Enter the value of username field in the credentilas.txt file shared through email with the credentials for LegacyFlo.

Example: "collaborationretreat19092019"

Note: The value should not start or end with "/".
Leave it empty when the file is not placed in any folder.
S3 Bucket Name Name of the S3 bucket

Using your own S3 bucket? 

Enter the bucket name

Using the temporary LegacyFlo S3 bucket?

Enter the bucket name as  "vaultasticpstupload"

Note: Do not add the '/' character at the end of the S3 bucket name.
S3 Bucket Region AWS region of the bucket Choose the value from the drop-down list 

Steps to get S3 bucket folder path

  1. Navigate to the S3 file in the S3 bucket.
  2. Click on the object and look for the S3 object URL in the overview tab.
  3. Copy the S3 object URL, remove the file name, and the leading '/'. This can be now used as input in s3 folder path

Destination information (Vaultastic4)
